“KOLOBOK – The Russian Gingerbread Boy”.
This is a well-known and beloved Russian Folk Tale, presented in English with interesting and bright puppet characters by professionals from the PUPPETART theater,
followed by a workshop, where children will learn how to make a puppet from the show!
A Russian folktale about the adventures of a little Butterball named Kolobok. It is performed by the PuppetArt theater from Detroit and supported by St.George Russian Orthodox Church. The adventures of Kolobok are seen through the eyes of two forest creatures, performed by live actors who bring to life the floor puppets – animals in traditional Russian costumes. With originally composed music and lyrics, this musical is fun for all ages.
