Coming Together in Spirit & Song: A Women's Spring Singing Event

Lift up your voice in song with Theresa Sapunar at Coming Together in Spirit & Song: A Women’s Spring Singing Retreat at Grailville Retreat & Program Center on Saturday, March 23, 2013 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. This program is co-sponsored by the Center for Personal & Spiritual Growth.

Women are invited to a day-long singing retreat led by Theresa Horan-Sapunar, director of the Yellow Springs Threshold. This will be a day of easy songs, chants, and rounds, songs of healing and passage, songs of playfulness and joy, songs celebrating the earth, our own spirit and creativity.  Join us for an immersion into discovering, integrating, and enjoying our voices and our self-expression. It will be fun, healing, and richly rewarding, all within a climate of self-acceptance and ease...no need for previous musical experience, just a love of singing. Something happens when we chant and sing together, when we choose to give our voices, our energy, and our hearts to a common song and to each other.  Overnight space may be available; call for information.  Cosponsored by the Center for Personal and Spiritual Growth.

Coming Together in Spirit & Song: A Women’s Spring Singing Retreat is facilitated Theresa Horan- Sapunar, who has been passionately involved with singing and sounding as a path of self-healing, creative expression and spiritual development for over 30 years. Theresa is co-founder of the Center for Personal and Spiritual Growth in Cincinnati (www.cpsgonline.com), is the director of the Yellow Springs Threshold Choir (www.thresholdchoir.org), and has been creating and leading retreats for enhanced well-being, creativity, and spiritual deepening since 1977.

Grailville’s Coming Together in Spirit & Song: A Women’s Singing Retreat is a part of the Sustaining Spirit Series, that hopes to act as a  catalyst and a resource for those engaged in spiritual search. This series offers various programs reflecting the diversity of The Grail’s expression of spirituality.

Coming Together in Spirit & Song: A Women’s Spring Singing Retreat is held on Saturday, March 23rd, 2013, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at Grailville, 932 O’Bannonville Rd., Loveland, OH. The fee is $65, which includes lunch. Overnight space may be available for an additional charge. Reservations are required. Some scholarships may be available.
