Clay and the Natural World (ages 7 and up)
If your child loves to explore nature and doesn't mind getting their hands dirty, then this is the camp for you. Award winning potter, Bonnie McNett, will lead children in an exploration of the natural world and will guide them in expressing themselves in clay. Children will learn about clay and will collect local clay from a creek bed. Children will gather natural objects on hikes and will use these objects in pottery projects. Children will receive an authentic pottery experience and will make at least 6 projects to bring home. No prior experience necessary. Projects will be fired and ready for pickup two weeks after the end of camp.
